Daruka is an adopted father of Mowgli. Although Mowgli usually lives with Baloo and Bagheera, he visits Daruka's family sometimes.
Personality[]
Like the family, Daruka's very fond of Mowgli and deeply cares for his loved ones shown in Kite Flight and Blood Brothers. In Phaona's Nasty Trick, Daruka tends to be a bit snarky with Mowgli for missing the meeting meaning he likes others to punctual. Being a father, he is also very stern, as shown when he reprimanded Lali for coming on the quest when she was told not to. He is also shown to be more level-headed than his mate, Raksha and very protective of his family and even his pack leader, Akela.
